RFC1647 Compliant

New tests have been added to the V3270E test library to provide additional verification of function negotiations. ITF is now fully compliant with the latest TN3270E working group RFC1647 changes.

Data-Stream-Flush Function Tests

V3270E now includes new tests to verify the functionality of Data-Stream-Flush function.

Suppress-Byte-Doubling Function Tests

Four new tests were added to the V3270E test library to verify the implementation of Byte Doubling Suppression.

New Host Emulation Screens and Functions

Four new screens have been added to the HOSTEMU test library for Model 3 and Model 5. The Banking application has been revised to improve usability and functionality.

Enhancements

• BAX delay is now interruptible
• ITF^TM now automatically changes the .PRN file name when the .BAX file name is changed
• Decreased system size to allow for more memory when running user test programs
• Improved outbound performance
• Display Log/Trace filename now accepts any extension

Corrections

The following Test Libraries have received corrections and/or improvements: B5250, EB5250 and V3270E.

Year 2000 Ready

ACT is committed to ensuring that the ITF^TM product can accurately process dates greater than 1999. Any place in which ITF^TM references or displays a date is now Year 2000 compliant.

TN5250 Telnet Layer Verification Support

When the negotiated terminal type is 5250, V3270 tests 006 - 009 now send TN5250 data in order to verify the TN5250 Telnet Layer.

New Color Coded System Viewer

A new color coded System Viewer is now available for Log/Trace display. This new feature improves usability and problem determination by color coding trace data.
