5250 DSPT Printer Tests
A new library, DSPTPRT,
was added to SDTF which contains six DSPT 5250
WorkStation Function (WSF) Printer tests. These tests
will send SCS printer data through the DSPT interface.
LU3 Printer Server Tests
A bracket
exerciser test (004) has been added to the LU3A library
to stress multiple LU3 printers with multiple print jobs
using various delay timings.
3x74 SNA Layer Tests Re-validated
We have re-validated all of the SNA Layer tests and made a number of revisions to the tests based upon the latest 3174 revisions.
3270 Client
Simulation System
SNAsec is been enhanced to provide automatic session re-activation, full SDLC secondary support, and additional 3270 commands/orders. SNAsec is capable of running 254 SDLC/LAN sessions and is great for testing Gateways, Routers, and FRADs!

The following manuals were updated: SDTF URM, 3x74 Library Guide, 3x74 Validation Test Specifications, 3270 PS, EFF74, EFF5250, Toolbox, Series A, DSPT, ESDPT, and Secondary.
Enhancements
- The QuikStart sheet has been extensively revised and is now a manual.
- Trace decode now supports 5250 printer decode.
- 5250 DSPT tests now support menu selectable session deactivation.
- SDLC XID3 parameters may now be modified.
- 5250 tests now support asynchronous session activation, any pacing window and mode name.
- Tests which pass are now displayed in green by the trace viewer.
Corrections
The following test libraries have received corrections and/or improvements: DLC, DLCA, PC, TC, SC, DFC, EFF74, PS, LU2A, LU2B, LU2D, LU2F, LU3A, 5250 DSPT, EXAMPLES, and SNASEC.

Menu-Driven LLCPING
"LLCPING" is a stand alone utility program designed to supplement and aid SDTF LAN testing. It can generate LAN traffic and monitor node performance and availability. It can also diagnose LAN connection problems, discover multi-segment active nodes and routing paths, and display LAN adapter information. See the ToolBox User Reference Manual for details.
Null Segmented Frames Tests
Two null segmented frames
tests were added to the test specifications of test 211,
subtest 1 (7.5.1), in the SNA Path Control (PC) layer
test library.
Year 2000 Ready 
ACT is committed to ensuring that the SDTFTM product can accurately process dates greater than 1999. Any place in which SDTFTM references or displays a date is now Year 2000 compliant.
